How to keep your copper transformation on point
Autumn 2023 has inspired an abundance of copper colour transformations, and I CANNOT get enough of it!!!🤩🫶🏼🧡✨ If you've recently embraced the copper hair trend, you'll know copper hues are notorious for fading relentlessly! But with proper care, you can maintain its shiny and bright appearance between visits.
Here are my top tips:
🧡Use shampoo & conditioner specifically designed for colour-treated hair. They are formulated to be gentle on your hair while preserving the vibrancy of your copper shade. Look for sulfate-free options such as Original & Mineral maintain the mane range.
🧡Wash with Cool Water: Hot water can cause your hair cuticles to open up, leading to fade. Rinse your hair with cool water to help seal the cuticles and lock in the colour.
🧡Limit Washing: Each shampoo will contribute to colour fading. Try to extend the time between washes to every other day or even longer if your hair allows. On non-wash days, you can use a dry shampoo like Original & Mineral dry queen to refresh your roots and absorb excess oil.
